I started my aviation career after college as a final function test mechanic on the DC10, from there I went to work as a CFI and eventually flew part 121 and spent 7 years as a check airman. Next stop was flying corporate for another dozen plus years. I started my company 18 years ago and despite the ups and downs of self-employment, I really love what I do and have no plans to retire until I hit 90.
Val is the brains behind our success and makes sure I don't say or do anything too ridiculous. She also handles the admin and managerial aspects of the office. She is an educator, writer and Jeopardy smart, holds a BA and MA in Anthropology. Her only fault seems to be her perfect diction and a propensity to correct mine on a regular basis. Other than that, she is perfect.
