We provide Confirmation of Conformity audits that ensure your program meets industry standards. Recurrent SMS training is included and a one year subscription to our Safety Officer Bulletin training program, that gives you weekly safety training, an important part of SMS. 


Our audit protocols utilize the best components of ISBAO, FSF, ACSF and Wyvern standards, while being a team building opportunity that will enhance your overall performance and effectiveness. This program is priced to be done annually or biannually.

SMS CONFORMITY EVALUATION

We provide initial and recurrent training onsite or remotely. Getting the right training is key to achieving the goals of SMS. In addition to basic SMS training, we provide SMS coordinator training for your key safety personnel, which is a unique skill set to be most effective. All of our courses can be virtual or onsite.


The SMS standard, like most standards is complex and highly technical, which means there is plenty of room for errors in interpretation, which often leads to spending too much time on something that really does not need it. That is why, our training is designed to be practical and focused on the important aspects of SMS. 


There is a tendency to over complicate the SMS reporting and analysis part of the program, and collect the wrong data or not know what should be reported in the first place. The Initial course will provide you everything you'll need to get the most from your program.

This program provides a continuous safety training program, collects and analyses your data and generates reports when needed. Your Documentation is a key component of having an effective SMS and is held securely and confidentially. 


One of the  most important components of your SMS is establishing a continuous training program to mitigate complacency and normalized deviance, but most departments find they don't have the resources or the time to dedicate to developing new training material, which is why this program has been our most popular one since the beginning. 


For small to medium sized departments, the SAFE program is equivalent to hiring a full time safety manager in terms of deliverables. The advantage of this simple support program is to keep you engaged and focused on reporting errors, mistakes and deviations from SOP so that we can all learn. It really is at the heart of SMS, to strive for continuous improvement. And, that requires a just culture, which simply means you can report errors without fear of reprisal. Without a just culture, SMS will not work.

Well before the Covid shutdown, we were providing operators with various support services entirely

It is clear from accident investigations that professional pilots are breaking airplanes not because of their hard or technical skills, but from their soft or human skills such as poor communication, decision making and a lack of situational awareness. 


Technology and automation have not been successful in eliminating the need for pilots who can manage the automation and potentially take over when those systems fail, using basic stick and rudder skills.


Unfortunately, new pilot training focuses on the technology more than basic airmanship, leading to several high profile accidents such as AF447 and Asiana 214.


We are seeing pilot shortages again, and that could mean inexperienced crew members flying advanced airplanes at altitudes where there is no margin for error. Emphasis on stick and rudder skills along with upset recovery training should be required as part of your training program. Our CRM/SMS training program goes  deep into"soft skills" and explores how technology is a double edged sword.
